Season Update

The lacrosse program is changing. We have instituted weekly position specific board sponsored clinics. These focus predominantly on the draw and goal tending, but also shooting, dodging, and defense.  For the first time this season, Coach Nicole will run the Saturday morning Freshman practice.  All players seeking a position on the Varsity team are required to document their preparation process regarding: strength, agility, fitness and skill/lacrosse IQ. Communication is key.

Outlined below are specific expectations at each level of play (Freshman, JV and Varsity).  We want players and their parent to know exactly what is expected of them during preseason, tryouts and every time they step on to the field.

Player evaluation and feedback will take place three times during the season: after tryouts, mid-season and post season.  No one is guaranteed a spot on any team. Spots are earned every day.  There is the potential for cuts at every level!

There will be a MANDADORY Player / Parents meeting on Tuesday 19 March @ 7pm in the Staples Cafeteria.
